Dr. KaTrinka is a native of Wetumpka, AL, was raised in Decatur, AL, and currently resides in dually in AL/AZ and frequents California. In addition to ministry credentials, KaTrinka holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management. She has also completed coursework in pursuit of a Master of Pastoral Counseling at Liberty University and completed her Master of Divinity in Christian Counseling Therapy (M.Div). She was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Ministry (D.Min. h.c.) in Organizational Leadership by Global Evangelical Christian College and Seminary—Conferred in recognition of over 30 years of excellence in organizational administration and servant- leadership, including the development of the Demonstration of Administration curriculum. This distinction highlights the methodologies illuminated through authorship of A Tale of Two People. This honor acknowledges my ongoing commitment to leadership and the development of leaders as the founder of Changed by Choice, where I empower individuals and organizations to achieve transformation through intentional decision-making. Changed by Choice specifically focuses on organizational transformation, administrative excellence, and the practical application of the Demonstration of Administration curriculum.

Currently, KaTrinka operates with full cognition of the present move during this time of awareness. Her life is a continuous vehicle in the marketplace to educate and empower people of all ages. Consequently, she has served in innumerable active roles and in various capacities on each assignment. With this, her heart is set on seeing people grow and flourish no matter where they started or what opposition they have faced. As a survivor of sexual abuse inside her own home, from the age of four, KaTrinka advocates heavily for the physically, emotionally, and sexually abused. Domestic violence was prevalent in her home until her mother’s untimely death when KaTrinka was five. Dr. KaTrinka believes in the power of divine healing. Likewise, she is a proponent for pastoral counseling, professional therapeutic clinical sessions, prescription medication when needed, and other medical treatment that aids in the ultimately disciplining out of unhealthy patterns, behaviors, and destructive thought processes that attack wellness and can lead to mental illness.

​Similarly, as a visionary leader, KaTrinka offers her gifts and talents to organizations from budding to established. She has launched written coursework, namely, “The Demonstration of Administration”. This educational and motivational content is offered in various forms, including seminar or session form, individual classes, and a ten-week certificate program. This coursework is offered live on-site, live streaming, or soon to be pre-recorded to meet the needs of the organization. Additionally, Dr. KaTrinka was purposeful in her educational writing. From this, she has constructed a Christian Counseling Therapist Certificate Program that addresses relevant issues to bridge the gap to professional counseling. Further, this content will be included as a part of the coursework required for degree plans. Look for this coursework around the corner.

Alongside community work and education, KaTrinka has been blessed with influence in the marketplace arena of media and entertainment. Simultaneously, as a model and actress, her grace affords her the ability to reach people she encounters in these sectors. With this intention,  she is entrusted with the wisdom to infiltrate the marketplace while maintaining a personal standard. KaTrinka has received business training as a model, with internationally known supermodel CoCo Rocha and her team.  She is supported and supports others as a part of the CoCo Rocha Modeling Camp (CRMC) Alumni of Camp 15.

In the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. KaTrinka added to her accolades by training and becoming a Certified Human Behavioral Consultant. Being that she is an "Esoteric Humanitarian Philanthrope", the addition of the DISC Certification through Personality Insights, Inc. is a great supplement to studies. Self-investment is the Best Investment! The challenges of the pandemic served as a powerful catalyst for continuous learning and development in KaTrinka's household.

 She has a weightily evident knack for reconciliation and restoration that manifests in any arena she enters. With her transparent testimony and current truth, KaTrinka motivates those who may feel lost, discontented, disenfranchised, helpless, or hopeless.  Furthermore, her down-to-earth nature enables her to reach a multitude of people. In addition to her abuse and suicide prevention platform, she speaks to many subjects, including singleness, marriage, divorce, parenting, living a balanced life, and weight loss. She also speaks as a breast loss survivor, though she was blessed that her breast tumor was benign. Also, she conducts many sessions on leadership training and development. Her words, testimony, and broad knowledge base evoke those she encounters to get and move in one gear, "FORWARD". No matter the gender or age, her down-to-earth approach coupled with the leading of the Holy Spirit is a winning recipe for transformation. Dr. KaTrinka is a now coach to the future for the future!
